Fintech Wales and its partners (The Fintech Power 50, Innovate Finance, London & Partners, Rise created by Barclays, the Emerging Payments Association and iFinance Academy, part of The Conexus Group) have launched the Fintech KICKSTART scheme that looks to champion support across its fintech ecosystem and provide employment opportunities for 16-24 year olds.

On behalf of the Welsh Government and Ken Skates Minister for Economy and Transport we are supporting a consultation to help define a framework that will protect and grow the manufacturing sector over the next 10 plus years. The framework will allow us to map and plan the best route for the sector and the support and interaction with public/private entities including the Welsh Government. Technology is playing an ever increasingly important part of the manufacturing story which this consultation will explore.
