We love comparison sites, but customers are primarily making decisions based on price rather than coverage. Many sites state that the customer should read the policy wording to ensure that the policy meets their needs, whilst knowing that the majority of customers never do so.
Are customers being mis-sold policies which only comes to fruition at a later date that ends in disappointment? For example, in the insurance industry we want to avoid the heartache for the thousands of people each year that attempt to claim only to discover that they don’t have adequate cover.
