No company involved in FinTech needs reminding just how hard it can be to recruit the ‘right’ talent at the ‘right’ time.

So, it was great to hear of the hiring successes achieved by the team at Venture Graduate Recruitment & Development – an expert zero-cost service that’s fully-funded by Cardiff Capital Region, helping FinTech’s in South East Wales achieve their potential by hiring and developing the talent they need.

The good folk of Venture have already delivered impressive hiring results for CCR-based FinTech’s such as Principality, Sonovate and Yoello – for positions that range from tech and sales, to back office and support roles – taking all the pain from the process and turning the whole experience into an enjoyable journey for employer and candidate alike.

We decided to find out more – and in a lively and wide-ranging discussion, Gemma Hallett spoke with Rowena O’Sullivan, the Venture Skills & Talent Lead, about the unique way in which Venture attracts, assesses, shortlists and then helps develop graduate talent, with a focus on each graduate making the maximum impact for their employer.

Our video interview below goes into more detail on a valuable service that includes everything from carefully crafted recruitment ads that tell the employment story and sell the individual role – right through to Venture’s very own Career Accelerator Programme, which builds the fundamental skills that every graduates need, fitting the training around their role, so that every graduate hired by Venture can make the best possible contribution to their employer.

It’s a service that’s proven valuable for the 150+ graduates who have found success with many different employers – and it’s reassuring to know that the FinTech community of South East Wales can reach out to Rowena and her team, for a free and expert service that is already posting such great results for the fast-growing enterprises of our Region.
