Welsh Employers Invited to Shape Blockchain and Software Development Standards
Employers, educators, and digital specialists are invited to have their say on four new National Occupational Standards (NOS), now open for consultation until Friday 10th October 2025.
These standards are designed to make sure qualifications and training programmes reflect the real skills needed by industry.They cover key areas of innovation and infrastructure, including topics with particular relevance to theFinTech community in Wales:
- Blockchain – skills to design, secure, and integrate blockchain systems, from smart contracts to enterprise applications.
👉 Blockchain NOS Consultation - Full Stack Software Development – skills to build and maintain end-to-end software solutions across front-end, back-end, cloud, and security.
👉 Full Stack Software Development NOS Consultation - OT Cybersecurity – skills to protect industrial and safety-critical systems from cyber threats.
👉 OT Cybersecurity NOS Consultation - Smart Infrastructure – competencies to design, deliver, maintain, and optimise smart, digitally connected infrastructure.
