tiQtoQ, a Newport-based quality engineering company, has appointed Chris Usher as Head of Engineering and AI.

Chris joined tiQtoQ in 2024 as Lead Automation Engineer and brings more than 15 years of software engineering experience, including a decade leading high-performing teams across QA, automation and DevOps.

According to tiQtoQ, he is known for driving engineering excellence and building teams that deliver fast, reliable software at scale. In his new role, Chris will lead the company’s engineering function and drive the integration of AI into development, testing and operational workflows as tiQtoQ continues to expand its AI capabilities.
