Are you looking for an opportunity to give back in 2025? The Open University (OU) is calling on professionals to participate in its Elevate Mentoring Programme, a key initiative designed to support students from under-represented groups. This impactful programme is part of the Open University Careers Elevate Initiative and includes two distinct schemes tailored to different levels of volunteer commitment:

1. Elevate Career Mentoring

Volunteers will mentor a student, providing guidance to help them unlock their potential. This commitment involves at least four meetings with a mentee over four months, beginning in February 2025.

2. Elevate Career Insights

Starting in March 2025, this new scheme offers students a one-off meeting with a professional in their desired field. This flexible option requires less time while still providing invaluable career guidance.

Why Get Involved?

  • Empower students to navigate career transitions with confidence.
  • Share your industry expertise to inspire the next generation of talent.
  • Help shape the professional aspirations of under-represented students.

The Open University is looking for 80 volunteers to provide e-mentoring. Full training and ongoing support will be provided, ensuring a smooth and rewarding experience for all participants.
