Steve Dukes, CEO of Confused.com, Joins Industry Leaders at TINtech London Market 2025
Steve Dukes, Chief Executive Officer at Cardiff-based price comparison giant Confused.com, joined a lineup of senior insurance and fintech executives at this year’s TINtech London Market conference in London.
Hosted at Convene, 155 Bishopsgate, the event convened over 300 professionals from across the insurance value chain to explore how digital transformation, emerging technologies, and AI are reshaping the sector. TINtech London Market has become a key date in the insurtech calendar, known for driving dialogue around operational efficiency and customer-centric innovation.
Speaking alongside figures from companies including PwC UK, Oxbow Partners, and top London Market insurers, Dukes highlighted the need for deeper collaboration across the industry to reduce the underlying cost of insurance provision—savings which could ultimately benefit consumers.
“Speaking to Paul Hollands, Kate Wells, Clare Lebecq, Ketan Motwani and many more at TINtech, it was clear that there’s so much more the industry can do to work together to lower the underlying cost of providing insurance, which ultimately flows through to consumers,” said Dukes in a LinkedIn post reflecting on the event.
The event’s agenda featured keynote panels on GenAI, data governance, and the future of the London Market, with many speakers echoing Dukes’ sentiment that customer experience must be central to digital change.
Dukes’ appearance further cements Confused.com’s presence as a digital-first disruptor rooted in Wales but shaping conversations across the UK insurance sector. His participation underscores the critical role Welsh fintech leaders are playing in national innovation agendas.
