Savannah Price, Founder of Serene, Shortlisted for Prestigious Global Founder Award
Fintech Wales is proud to celebrate the success of one of our members: Savannah Price, the founder of Serene, who has been shortlisted for the Investec OPUS Early Stage Entrepreneur of the Year: Female Founder Award, part of the global Easies awards programme and sponsored by the British Business Bank.
This global recognition highlights the boldest early-stage entrepreneurs from around the world: individuals building transformative businesses and driving cultural and technological change. Out of more than 1,000 applications across 50+ countries, only 50 founders have been shortlisted across five categories.
The founder of Serene shared:
“I’m incredibly proud that Serene’s mission and work have been recognised on this global stage. Winning this award would provide not only global visibility, access, and amplification, but also a $50K prize, offering vital personal liquidity at this early and challenging stage of building Serene.”
The Easies celebrate “outliers, mavericks, and dreamers building what the world doesn’t yet know it needs.” The programme honours entrepreneurs under four years in business and pre-Series A, with winners chosen across five categories.
These awards aim to spotlight potential over scale and reward bold innovation across sectors including climate, culture, fintech, and healthtech.
Public voting will determine the winners of this year’s Easies so let’s help showcase the talent and ambition growing here in Wales.
