Description:

You’ll be working as a software engineer in a cross-functional squad of designers, product, engineers, and testers, to deliver new products and features. Squads develop and own features end-to-end, so you’ll have the opportunity to work across a wide range of technologies, across web, mobile apps, API, backend, and databases. Wealthify are hosted in Microsoft Azure and take advantage of cloud technologies to ensure their platform is secure, fast, and scales to meet demand.

Wealthify write high quality, high performance, scalable code, and release small and often, using Git and Azure DevOps. 4. Yoello – React Software Engineer

5. Wagonex – Digital Marketing Executive

Description: 

As the Digital Marketing Executive, you will quickly find yourself at the front and centre of activities to raise the profile of this fast paced, fun and friendly automotive start up. Key responsibilities will be increasing awareness of the Wagonex brand through social media and PR channels, closely working with our Brand & PR manager.

What you’ll do: 

  • You will be able to get involved in both campaign creation and delivery, getting your ideas implemented into campaigns for the organisation. 
  • There is also plenty of opportunity to get involved with creating content, e.g. video, images or copy, depending on your skill set, or to get more involved with data and analytics.

Role Purpose:

The domain architects operate within the CTO team taking primary responsibility for the development of the current technology landscapes, target architectures and roadmaps which feed into IT Strategy and propel technology delivery with clarity on the future.

Currencycloud’s Java Software Engineers are responsible for implementing an industry-leading API that has already processed over $50 billion of cross-border transactions for over 5 million end users, and is available to their clients 24/7.

As a Java Software Engineer you’ll play a key role within your team at Currencycloud; taking responsibility for your services and the technology within them, but also in helping develop your team and its relationship with your product owner and the broader business.

What you’ll get to do:

  • Object-oriented programming forms the bulk of Currencycloud’s codebase, currently in Java, versions 11+, and ideally Springboot framework
  • Highly-scalable, highly-available, cloud-native applications are key to Currencycloud’s next phase of growth, are written to 12-factor principles and fit into our microservices architecture
  • Cloud-related tools, services, and distributed system observability to support these applications, such as Docker, Kubernetes, ElasticSearch, log management systems, and Datadog APM, to name but a few 
  • API specifications, conforming to the OpenAPI (Swagger) standard, provide a clean boundary both externally between Currencycloud’s customers and products, and internally between Currencycloud’s microservices
  • SQL, and large SQL databases, provide the persistence layer for Currencycloud’s applications. You’ll be working with (and know the limitations of using) such large datastores
  • Infrastructure automation is primarily owned by the infrastructure team, but you will be a consumer of their work, familiarity with AWS, Terraform and Docker is beneficial
  • Testing approaches, including TDD, BDD and Contract Testing, all form an important part of Currencycloud’s approach to quality assurance; ensuring that the code that they write forms products that are fit for use. Currencycloud currently use a variety of frameworks including JUnit, RSpec and Cucumber
  • Agile development, with teams broadly aligned with the Spotify – Squads & Tribes – model, helps Currencycloud deliver incremental improvements to their products in an iterative manner. Advocating this model, and joining on a journey of continuous improvement, is a key attribute of members of their teams
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines allow Currencycloud to “automate all the things”, providing repeatable builds and consistent deployments
