Description – ” The Commercial Manager will drive forward our commercial partnerships and relationships. This role is a crucial hire for us and will play a pivotal part in making sure we drive revenue and maximise commercial opportunities.

As Commercial Manager you will have responsibility for Monva’s commercial relationships with product providers (credit cards, loans, energy) and identifying opportunities to extend our distribution through partnership, ensuring the development of both existing and new relationships in order to maximise revenue growth, improve profitability and enhance our reputation in the market.”

Responsibilities

  • Create appointments, meet with product provider partners (banks, credit card companies, media agencies, affiliate partners, loan businesses), promote Monva as a valued distribution channel, and build long term relationships
  • Focus on day-to-day performance delivering positive trading activity through commercial partnerships. You will have a keen eye on market dynamics and new product launches to identify commercial opportunities and have tenacity to win budget share of these products
  • Ensure that Monva has the best possible coverage of available products to present to customers in each of the categories Monva serves
  • Demonstrate excellent business development and relationship building skills
  • Manage and report on Monva’s commercial pipeline using CRM software, creating regular partner performance reports for both internal and external consumption.
  • Work closely with the board to deliver the commercial plan
  • Handle commercial negotiations with partners
  • Understand market trading conditions and industry developments and communicate to board
  • Identify development opportunities with existing partners and emerging market entrants.
  • Close collaboration with Product, Technology, Marketing, and Operations, amongst other departments
  • Identify and recommend optimisation of our channels, influencing within a product labs environment to influence commercial change
