Description: 

As a Senior Relationship Executive, you’ll be part of a team representing Confused.com within the insurance industry. You will work with and support the relationship managers with a portfolio of motor or home insurance partners – including key industry names such as Aviva, Churchill, More Than, Admiral, Swinton, LV, Tesco and Axa.

The role requires a confident, dynamic individual who works off their own initiative, but can also work as part of a team. The price comparison market is fast moving, so you’ll need to be open to finding new ways of doing things, as well as having an eye for detail. You’ll be required to manage the day-to-day performance of Confused.com’s panel partners. And you’ll work with the relationship managers to add value to Confused.com, by securing a good customer experience – resulting in sales for both us and our panel partners. Plus, you’ll be helping to optimise the income Confused.com receives from its panel partners.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own, monitor and improve performance of our motor/home partners, including understanding their competitiveness, customer experience and target market.
  • Analyse and communicate partner performance data, providing commentary and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with all members of the car insurance team in facilitating and co-ordinating technical change and development.
  • Prioritise and respond to day-to-day queries from all partners.
  • Ability to challenge panel partners’ performance to grow and protect revenue, as well as improving the customer experience.
  • Support the relationship managers in contractual and commercial negotiations.
  • Maintain a broad understanding of Confused.com, their competitors and partner activity.
  • Ensure the timely receipt of month-to-date and end-of-month performance and sales information from partners.
  • Provide administrative support to the relationship managers in tasks such as preparing meeting packs, maintaining partner records, action logs, preparing MI, meeting minutes, scheduling calls/meetings and any technical and/or regulatory changes.
  • Maximise existing revenue streams through negotiating commercial terms including acquisition costs, acceptable conversion metrics and special offers/exclusive arrangements.
  • Identify new business opportunities through panel growth and optimisation.
  • Maintain contractual terms and ensure insurers comply with general good practice and industry regulations.
  • Support the revenue and assurance team in ensuring timely submission of sales information, payment and audits.
