LexisNexis is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with excellent C# ASP.NET & Angular skills as well as Azure experience to join Enterprise Solutions (www.lexisnexis-es.co.uk), the software business in LexisNexis. You will work with the Lexis® Omni legal technology platform, built on Microsoft Azure, which includes Lexis ® Everyfile and Lexis® Visualfiles™, the market leading case management and business process automation software solution.

Your technical abilities will heavily influence LexisNexis’s next generation products, applications & APIs as they continue to exploit Azure services. Key Responsibilities:

  • Day to day support to the Architect, devising and recommending designs that meet the Product Management team’s requirements.
  • Working closely with the Product Owner and Product Management team to understand requirements.
  • Support the Architect with translation of product requirements into either technical discovery or designs for the development team.
  • Provide SME support to the Development and QA teams with any issues / challenges.
  • Perform code peer review and provide constructive feedback to the Development teams.
  • Development of solutions that align to the architectural approaches.
  • Pro-actively review processes and procedures and provide recommendations on improvements.
  • Support environment / development pipeline activities.
  • Attend and input into daily Scrum meetings.

The Modelling & Reporting Analyst will support the Senior Analysts in the development, monitoring and continuous improvement of planning analytics across PBS, including both financial and operational planning as well as product pricing.The successful candidate will undertake work streams including measuring model performance, back-testing of models and assessing validity of key assumptions.

The role is pivotal in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the non-IRB model suite whilst also ensuring models remain within risk appetite, and key decision making models are robust, including portfolio elements of financial planning and product pricing for all interest bearing assets and liabilities.

A highly technical role, the holder will need experience with complex models and a high level of Excel skills. Knowledge of data warehouse analysis and data extraction are required. Knowledge of SAS is desirable.
