Description:

Sonovate is looking for a Graduate Sales Consultant (SDR) to play a fundamental role in achieving their ambitious revenue growth objectives. This role reports to The Head of UK Start Ups, working to support senior sales teams, sales representatives and Marketing on outbound strategies and lead generating efforts from existing and prospective customers. The focus of the role will be on generating potential leads, soliciting potential customers, facilitating sales, booking meetings/demos and connecting customers with the right salesperson. This will be achieved by identifying and understanding a potential client’s needs.

This is also an excellent entry point for a commercially minded individual looking to begin a career in sales within a disruptive, forward thinking FinTech.

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

  • Approach prospective customers through cold-calling or responding to inbound inquiries to identify the customer’s needs, qualify their interests and reinforce the benefits of Sonovate.
  • Route specific leads and arrange meetings/demos for the appropriate sales consultant for further development and closure.
  • Attend the meetings/demos which you have arranged in order to learn more about the Sonovate offering for that particular customer type.
  • Develop in-depth Sonovate product and customer knowledge, market insights and all major competitors.
  • Meet and/or exceed daily, weekly and monthly performance targets for number of calls held, meetings/demos booked and leads qualified.
  • Ensure records and data in our CRM is kept up to date and accurate.
  • Collaborate and feedback to Marketing in order to create and implement supporting customer journeys.

  • Experience of Innovate UK, BEIS R&D, EU Horizon 2020, WEFO and other research funding providers would be advantageous,
  • Relevant professional qualification such as RICS, CIOB etc., and a degree in a relevant discipline, would both be desirable.

  • A degree and perhaps post‐graduate qualification are beneficial.
