Monmouthshire Building Society Launches New App for Smarter, Easier Savings Access

Monmouthshire Building Society has unveiled its new mobile app, The MonsBS App, offering customers a smarter, more convenient way to manage their savings. Developed in collaboration with app specialists Consectus, the app enhances the Society’s digital services while maintaining its trusted in-branch and telephone support.

Available now on both Apple and Android platforms, The MonsBS App enables users to open new savings accounts and ISAs, check balances, transfer funds between MonBS accounts or to external bank accounts, and view all their MonBS holdings in one place. Customers can begin saving in under five minutes directly through the app.

“We are delighted to have developed an app which gives our customers an additional way to manage their money with us. We’ve worked hard to ensure the app is a safe and secure way of managing savings, helping our customers to access our services, whenever and wherever they like, at the touch of a button.

Of course, having an app doesn’t mean we’re moving away from our traditional branch services. We’ll still be on hand on the high street for customers to pop in with their passbooks and on the end of the phone, as well as on our website. This is just an extra way for customers to manage their money and we can’t wait to see the difference it makes to our customers.”

The MonsBS App includes secure Face and Touch ID login, a branch locator with contact details and opening hours, access to the Society’s blog, and tools for generating account statements by date range. A comprehensive FAQs and support section ensures users can access help whenever needed.
