FinTech Wales is excited to announce opportunities for exceptional professionals to join our Advisory Panel in 2025. This is your chance to help shape the future of fintech in Wales, contribute to strategic decisions, and provide critical insights that help our members thrive.

Why We Need You

Our members face unique challenges and opportunities in a rapidly evolving fintech landscape. By joining the Advisory Panel, you will help drive innovation, support startup and scaling businesses, and ensure our community continues to lead in emerging technologies and industry best practices.

• Investing in startups and scaleups.
• Securing innovation funding, either having received it yourself, or having written/contributed to successful innovation funding applications
• Providing legal support to fintechs in Wales and helping them navigate financial services regulation.
• Scaling and/or Exiting a Fintech Business, either through having held a senior leadership position at a fintech that has successfully scaled, or through having taken a fintech through an exit.
• Implementing novel technologies in areas such as AI, cybersecurity, and data solutions.
• Developing talent and company culture, either through building exceptional teams, fostering strong company cultures, or bridging the gap between industry and skills providers.

What’s Involved

Advisory Panel members are expected to:

• Hold “office hours” of approximately 2 hours per month for FinTech Wales members
• Attend FinTech Wales events such as AGMs, networking meetups, and expert-led sessions.
• Provide strategic contributions to key areas of FinTech Wales’ vision and direction.
