09 October, 2026
Women Angels of Wales has launched the Female Founders Forum, a new pan-Wales community for women running a business or thinking of starting one.
Funded by the British Business Bank, the Forum brings together women founders, experienced experts and angel investors to share knowledge, build confidence and support business growth.
The opportunity
The Forum is open to women in business in Wales, at any stage and in any sector, with **no charge for the first six months**.
The programme includes:

- Three online masterclasses in November and December:** explore what investors look for, how to fundraise and how to prioritise competing demands.
- In-person networking drinks in January:** connect with other founders at events in North, Mid and South Wales.
- The Growth Pod, January to March:** join a small coaching group for founders actively raising investment.
- The Pitch Battle in March:** pitch live to a panel of angel investors.
- An ongoing online community:** stay connected through WhatsApp, LinkedIn and a resource hub throughout the year.
