Infuse Collision Space 2026 Opens Applications to Drive AI Innovation in Public Services
Applications are now open for the Infuse Collision Space 2026 programme, offering a fully funded opportunity for public service professionals and cross-sector collaborators to explore how artificial intelligence can transform public services across the Cardiff Capital Region.
Delivered by Infuse, the programme has been investing in innovation skills, capacity and confidence within public services since 2021. Initially developed for the region’s 10 local authorities, the initiative has expanded to include participants from the private sector, academia and the third sector.
The 2026 programme will focus on the application of artificial intelligence to public service redesign, with particular emphasis on three key areas: Housing and Homelessness, Social Care, and Education and Employment.
The Infuse Collision Space will bring together 24–30 participants from across sectors to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams. Participants will follow a structured four-phase programme (Explore, Build, Test and Evaluate) supported by academics, policymakers, and experts in data and procurement.
At the conclusion of the programme, teams will have the opportunity to pitch their solutions for a share of £500,000 in funding to scale their ideas.
The programme will run from 14 April to 14 July 2026, with applications closing on 23 March 2026. In addition to participants, Infuse is also inviting experienced professionals to contribute as Associate Advisors, offering expertise to support teams throughout the programme.
