Lucy Cohen, co-founder and CEO of Mazuma, started her career as an accountancy apprentice, a decision that helped her build a multimillion-pound business. After realising university wasnโ€™t the right path for her, she pursued an AAT apprenticeship, allowing her to earn while she learned and gain industry experience. Today, Mazuma is the UKโ€™s largest female-founded accountancy firm, employing 70 peopleโ€”including many apprentices. Passionate about changing perceptions of apprenticeships, Lucy is now expanding opportunities at Mazuma, particularly for women in tech and marketing.
