Yesterday, we were delighted to partner with Elevate to celebrate the arrival of their hyperfast fibre network in Cardiff – a £7.7 million investment that’s transforming connectivity in some of the city’s most digitally excluded areas.

We heard from the key partners and stakeholders who made it happen:

This initiative is about more than speed. As well as boosting business connectivity in the city centre, the project is delivering meaningful social impact – including free gigabit-speed internet for life to 15 local communities.

Better connectivity drives economic growth, opens up new opportunities, and strengthens Cardiff’s thriving fintech and tech ecosystem.
