FinTech Wales hosts Recruitment Roundtable with Capital Law

FinTech Wales recently welcomed members of the Welsh fintech ecosystem to a Recruitment Roundtable focused on the employment law and recruitment changes expected to come into force over the next six to 12 months.

Hosted by Alex Christen and Gemma Bailey from Capital Law, alongside David Sadler from Sadler Recruitment, the session brought together businesses from across the sector to discuss how organisations can prepare for an evolving recruitment landscape.

Against a backdrop of regulatory change, the increasing use of AI, ongoing skills shortages and changing candidate expectations, attendees explored the importance of investing in robust recruitment processes and adopting a more strategic, outcome-focused approach to hiring.

The discussion covered a broad range of topics, including company culture, employer branding, the role of AI in recruitment, and the importance of skills development and education in attracting and retaining talent.

FinTech Wales will be publishing a summary of the key legislative changes and important dates highlighted during the session, helping members stay informed as the changes take effect.
