FinTech Wales Appoints Expert Advisory Panel to Accelerate Sector Success

FinTech Wales is proud to announce its newly appointed Advisory Panel – a group of exceptional industry leaders selected to provide expert guidance, strategic insight, and hands-on support to fintech businesses across Wales.

The Panel is made up of FinTech Wales members and key stakeholders from across the wider Welsh fintech ecosystem, ensuring deep understanding, strong community ties, and sector-wide representation.

Bringing together a diverse mix of expertise across areas including investment, regulation, technology, culture, and business scaling, the panel will play a critical role in helping FinTech Wales deliver on its mission to amplify, support and grow the Welsh fintech ecosystem through its four strategic pillars: Amplification, Skills, Funding, and Ecosystem.

These individuals were selected based on their proven experience and deep understanding of key areas essential to the development of Welsh fintech, including:

  • Investing in startups and scaleups
  • Securing and advising on innovation funding
  • Navigating financial services regulation
  • Scaling fintech businesses and managing successful exits
  • Implementing transformative technologies such as AI and cybersecurity
  • Building high-performing teams and fostering thriving company cultures

Panel members will provide strategic guidance, attend FinTech Wales events, and offer direct support to members through monthly office hours.
