Finclusion Joins iVendi’s Finance Navigator Platform, Expanding Finance Options for Dealers
FinTech Wales member iVendi has added motor finance provider Finclusion to its Finance Navigator platform, expanding the range of lenders available to dealers and their customers.
Finclusion becomes the 14th motor finance company to join the platform. Launched last year, the lender focuses on customers who may be unable to obtain credit from mainstream providers, including those with thin credit files, previous financial challenges or limited access to mainstream banks.
Its lending criteria also support customers receiving benefits and those holding either a full or provisional driving licence. Finclusion can offer advances of up to £12,500 and fund vehicles up to 11 years old at the start of an agreement and 15 years old at the end.
Finance Navigator is designed for use both online by consumers and in showrooms by dealers. It delivers results from a range of motor finance providers in under 10 seconds, showing factors including monthly payments, indicative finance rates and likelihood of approval, alongside the option of pre-approval.
The addition of Finclusion gives dealers using iVendi another option for customers whose circumstances may fall outside the criteria of other lenders on their panel.
Ross Chambers, Chief Commercial Officer at Finclusion, said:
“Millions of people in the UK face barriers to affordable finance because of thin credit files, past financial challenges, or limited access to mainstream banks.
“We believe that shouldn’t stop anyone from moving forward and by using technology, open banking, and responsible data insights, we can understand each customer’s real financial situation, not just their credit score.
“Our approach focuses on affordability, transparency, and opportunity. We make fair, consistent lending decisions designed to help customers build or rebuild their financial standing, while ensuring repayments remain sustainable.”
James Tew, CEO at iVendi, said:
“A key part of the strategy for the platform is that it delivers a genuinely diverse range of lenders to participating dealers, ensuring that they have access to motor finance solutions for as many customers as possible.
“Businesses such as Finclusion are important to this approach, enabling consumers who may find it difficult to access lending from mainstream providers for a whole range of reasons with a new and effective option.
“We’re very pleased to welcome Ross and his team to Finance Navigator and look forward to seeing dealers incorporate the company’s products into their proposition.”
Finclusion’s addition also brings its technology-led approach to the Finance Navigator network, with the lender using open banking and responsible data insights to assess a customer’s financial situation alongside traditional credit information, with a focus on affordability and sustainable repayments.
