FinTech Wales member Finalrentals has been announced as the sponsor of the Community Champion Award at the Mastering Diversity Conference and Awards 2026, marking another milestone in the company’s growth journey from Welsh startup to global mobility technology business.
Founded by entrepreneur Ammar Akhtar, Finalrentals has become one of Wales’ fintech and technology success stories, expanding internationally while maintaining strong links to the Welsh business ecosystem. The company was also part of the FinTech Wales Foundry accelerator programme, taking part in Season 2 as it continued to scale its operations and global reach.
The sponsorship will see Finalrentals support the Community Champion Award at this year’s Mastering Diversity Conference and Awards, which celebrates individuals and organisations making a positive impact across communities, industries and society.
