Confused.com Sponsors bigmoose’s Ultra Fun Run to Support Mental Health Awareness
Confused.com has announced its sponsorship of bigmoose’s Ultra Fun Run, an inspiring event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for mental health support. The run will take place on April 13th, 2025, in Bute Park, Cardiff, and aims to unite thousands of participants in support of those struggling with mental health challenges.
Making a Stand for Mental Health
In 2023, 6,069 people in England and Wales lost their lives to suicide. bigmoose, a Cardiff-based mental health charity, is working tirelessly to prevent this number from rising by providing fast and accessible therapy to those in need. While traditional mental health support services can take up to 36 weeks, bigmoose ensures that people receive help within just one week.
The Ultra Fun Run is more than just a race—it’s a movement. The goal is to have 6,069 people take part, each representing a life lost and standing in solidarity to break the stigma surrounding mental health.
An Inclusive Event for Everyone
The Ultra Fun Run is open to all, whether you’re an experienced runner or just starting your fitness journey. Participants can choose from multiple distances:
- 5km
- 10km
- Half marathon
- Marathon
- 50km ultra marathon
There’s no pressure to compete—whether you run, jog, or walk, the focus is on coming together to support mental health. Every participant will receive a bigmoose spotty t-shirt, medal, and gift, helping to raise awareness through a visible show of support.
