Admiral Named 4th Best Workplace for Women in the UK for 2025

Admiral has once again secured its place among the top UK employers for women, earning the 4th spot on the 2025 UK’s Best Workplaces for Women™ list by Great Place To Work® UK. This recognition marks the sixth consecutive year that Admiral has ranked in the top 10 since the list’s inception in 2019.

The annual list honours organisations whose employees have recognised them as inclusive and equitable workplaces for all. Admiral’s consistent placement on this list reflects its continued commitment to fostering a diverse and supportive work environment.

Feedback from Admiral colleagues to Great Place To Work® UK highlights the strength of this commitment:

  • 95% of employees feel Admiral is a diverse and inclusive employer
  • 96% agree people are treated fairly regardless of gender
  • 90% of women at Admiral say they are proud to work for the company
  • 90% feel proud to tell others they work there

Admiral’s efforts to support gender equality are driven by a dedicated Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) team and an active Gender Colleague Working Group. These groups lead awareness events and internal forums to promote gender equity. The company has also been recognised as an Endometriosis Friendly Employer and has established clear menopause policies to support women’s health.

“I’m so proud of this recognition for our continued efforts in supporting all women in the workplace, as part of our broader commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion for all. Being a Great Place to Work and a place where everyone can be themselves is so important to us, and it’s all thanks to everyone’s efforts to make Admiral a place Where You Can Be You, regardless of gender. We want to make sure every voice is heard and respected, and we’ll continue to look at ways in which we can improve for our people.”

— Lorna Connelly, People Director at Admiral

“This year’s UK’s Best Workplaces for Women list highlights organisations that are moving beyond good intentions and delivering real, measurable progress. These companies are dismantling outdated norms, prioritising women’s health, and building clear, supported pathways to leadership.

This recognition is driven by what matters most: the voices of women who work there. They’ve said, in their own words, that their workplace is one where they’re respected, empowered, and able to succeed.

Congratulations to Admiral for leading by example — and showing what a genuinely inclusive workplace can look like.”

— Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place To Work UK
