Admiral Group to Host Two Flagship Events at Wales Week London 2024

Admiral Group Plc, Wales’ only FTSE 100 company, will spotlight Welsh innovation, sustainability, and data-led growth during Wales Week London 2024. The Cardiff-headquartered financial services leader is set to host two events that align with its commitment to responsible business, environmental impact, and data-driven innovation.

Circular Economy and ESG in the Spotlight

The first event, Creating a Circular Economy for Good, will take place on 25 February at 17:00 at PwC, 1 Embankment Place. It will explore how Welsh-led initiatives can deliver circularity across products, supply chains, and communities.

Michelle Leavesley, Admiral’s Chief Sustainability Officer, will lead the session alongside a panel of industry experts including:

  • Amy Shuffleton, Head of EHS & Responsible Business, Autoglass
  • Peter Randhawa, Director of ESG & Special Projects, Steer Automotive Group
  • Richard Giaramita, Account Director, Copart

Attendees can expect practical examples, a panel discussion, and an interactive Q&A session focused on embedding circular economy principles in everyday operations.

Championing Data Innovation for Wales

The second event, Data Unleashed: Fuelling Welsh Growth Through Innovation and Trust, will be held on 26 February at 11:30 at the Osborne Clarke offices. The session will explore the intersection of privacy, innovation, and economic development in Wales’ data economy.

Key speakers include:

  • Terry Evetts, Head of Group Privacy and DPO, Admiral
  • Georgina Graham, Partner, Osborne Clarke
  • David Teague, Welsh Affairs Lead, Information Commissioner’s Office

This event aims to show how robust privacy practices can empower organisations to innovate responsibly and build lasting public trust.

Both sessions will provide opportunities for attendees to network, learn from experts, and engage in forward-thinking discussions on the future of sustainable and data-driven growth in Wales.
