Admiral Group Reports Outstanding FY24 Performance with Strong Growth Across the Board

Admiral Group, one of Wales’ leading financial services companies and proud FinTech Wales members, has announced its full-year results for 2024, showcasing exceptional growth in profit, turnover, and customer base.

Celebrating 20 years as a listed business, Admiral continues to demonstrate its commitment to innovation, efficiency, and customer service—further cementing its place as a global leader in insurance and financial services while remaining deeply rooted in Wales.

Exceptional Financial Performance

Admiral’s 2024 results highlight a year of significant progress, with major increases in key financial metrics:

• Profit before tax: £839.2m (+90% vs. 2023)
• Turnover: £6.15bn (+28%)
• Total customers: 11.1 million (+14%)
• Dividend per share: 192.0p (+86%)
• Admiral Money gross loan balances: £1.17bn (+23%)

The company’s UK Motor business was a key driver of growth, while UK Household, Admiral Money, and international operations in France and the US also contributed with double-digit profits.

Investing in People & Sustainability

As one of Wales’ largest employers, Admiral remains committed to supporting its workforce. In recognition of their contributions, over 13,000 employees will receive free share awards worth up to £3,600.

Sustainability remains a key focus, with Admiral achieving:

• MSCI ESG score upgraded to AAA
• Official approval of science-based net-zero targets
• Continued leadership in electric vehicle insurance
