2022 Cohort Countdown – Introducing Everknock

Foundry, News

Introducing EverKnock,  one of the eight companies forming the cohort for Season 2 of the FinTech Wales Foundry: Validate, Raise & Scale Program.

Wales-based EverKnock – Founded by Daniaal Awais-Dean and Steve Talbot – is the homepage for your home move — a personal home-buying assistant that brings all the services you need, including conveyancing, finance, insurances and more, into one seamless journey — saving you time, money and stress. 🏡 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

When asked what they hope to get out of the program, Daniaal and Steve commented: “As co-founders, we have a certain set of skills that have taken us to a certain point in our discovery and validation journey, but there are other areas in which we are weaker. Our offering needs to be at a level beyond what we can achieve ourselves without help, at least in a reasonable timeframe.

We hope that the Foundry’s mentor and partner network will be able to provide some of this help, and for the remainder, closing our first investment round will be a huge enabler.

We are also looking to the Foundry for assistance with our investment challenges, specifically to position ourselves for the best possible chance of closing a round, and for introductions to investors who will add value beyond capital.

Of course, getting investment is not our end goal, but the start of a new chapter. As part of investment preparedness, we want to make sure we have a solid plan in place to use the funding wisely. We hope the program can help us to consolidate our post-investment plans to give us the very best chance of success.”

Stay tuned on our socials for updates on EverKnock’s journey as they Validate, Raise and Scale their venture throughout the Foundry Program, commencing 9th February 2022.
