Socura strengthens leadership team with Jack Addicott as new Chief Revenue Officer

Cyber security provider and FinTech Wales member Socura has appointed Jack Addicott as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), further strengthening its leadership team as it continues to scale its Managed Detection and Response (MDR) offering.

Founded to help organisations navigate an increasingly complex cyber threat environment, Socura provides Managed Detection and Response services to businesses and critical infrastructure organisations across the UK. The company is trusted by major NHS trusts, local authorities and private sector organisations, delivering a personalised approach to cyber security while helping customers reduce risk and respond quickly to emerging threats.

In his new position, Addicott will lead efforts to support the expansion of Socura’s MDR offering, with a focus on bringing together the company’s sales, marketing and customer success functions to enhance go-to-market execution and business performance.

Commenting on his appointment, Addicott said:

“Socura has earned a reputation as a trusted leader in MDR. I’m looking forward to working alongside the talented team in place here, as well as our network of strategic technology and channel partners, to drive this success even further.

“In an AI-driven landscape, Socura’s commitment to high-touch, attentive service will stand out as even more of a decisive factor for organisations that need help keeping pace with the scale and sophistication of threats.”

Addicott joins Socura with significant experience across the cyber security and technology sectors. Most recently, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at Cardiff-based cyber security provider PureCyber. His previous roles also include positions at ARO Technology and Circle, where he contributed to business growth and commercial development.

The appointment comes during a period of momentum for Socura. The company has recently been recognised as a leading UK scale-up, featured among the world’s top 100 security service providers and selected to deliver Wales’ National Security Operations Centre.

Socura’s Managed Detection and Response service has also received a world-class customer rating, reflecting the company’s focus on helping organisations identify, respond to and eliminate cyber threats. Earlier this year, the business was named among the UK’s Best Small Workplaces.

Andrew Kays, CEO of Socura, welcomed the appointment, saying:

“I’m delighted to welcome Jack to our growing team. Jack’s leadership and track record of scaling revenue operations will be a hugely important asset in maintaining the exceptional growth we’ve seen over the last few years and cementing our position as a leading authority in detection and response.”
