DocFlite Founder TJ Amas Joins Veeqo as Senior Product Manager

DocFlite founder TJ Amas has joined Amazon-owned Veeqo as Senior Product Manager, based in Swansea, marking a new chapter in his fintech and technology leadership journey.

The move comes alongside a leadership transition at DocFlite, where Elaine Amas has officially stepped into the role of CEO after working alongside TJ for the past nine years helping to grow the business.

Announcing his new role at Veeqo, TJ highlighted Amazon’s customer-first culture as a key reason behind the move.

“What really drew me here was Customer Obsession. As a founder, putting the customer at the centre of every decision was the principle I lived by. Seeing that same conviction baked into how Amazon operates made this feel like a natural fit. Excited for this next chapter. Onwards!”

TJ was also part of the FinTech Wales Foundry Season 2 accelerator, where DocFlite was supported as one of the cohort businesses developing innovative technology solutions in Wales.

At the same time, DocFlite announced Elaine Amas as its new CEO, with the company emphasising continuity for customers alongside continued investment in workflows, Smart Forms and product development.

In a letter shared with customers and the wider community, Elaine Amas said:

“I’m looking forward to continuing to build on what makes DocFlite special, great customer care, strong relationships, and a platform that genuinely helps cleaning businesses operate better.”

Reflecting on the transition, TJ Amas said he was proud of what had been built over the last nine years and expressed confidence in Elaine’s leadership moving forward.

He added that he will continue supporting the business in a consultancy capacity while focusing on his new opportunity at Veeqo.

The announcement highlights another example of entrepreneurial talent emerging from Wales’ fintech and technology ecosystem progressing into leadership roles across high-growth businesses.
