Swansea University Expands to London in Partnership with QA Higher Education

Swansea University has announced an exciting expansion into London, in collaboration with QA Higher Education, to offer flexible degree programmes starting in September 2025.

This strategic partnership aims to deliver a range of Swansea University programmes at QA Higher Education’s campuses across major metropolitan centres in England. It will provide students with innovative study options, including evening and weekend timetables and blended learning, helping those who balance work or other commitments while pursuing higher education.

Addressing Industry Demand with Innovative Course Delivery

Labour market insights from QA Higher Education indicate that computer science jobs in London are expected to grow by 9.2% by 2033, outpacing the national average of 6%. Recognising this demand, the partnership will launch with Swansea University’s MSc Computer Science course, leveraging the university’s world-leading research and academic excellence.

Simon Nelson, CEO of QA Higher Education, highlighted the growing demand for flexible study options:

Expanding Educational Opportunities Across the UK

Following the launch, the partnership aims to introduce additional programmes from the School of Mathematics and Computer Science alongside the School of Management from January 2026.
