Fintech Roundtable with Alfredo Fierro – Exploring Opportunities in Latin America
We are delighted to welcome Alfredo Fierro, the Department for Business and Trade’s Regional Director for Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay, to Cardiff on Friday, 2nd May.
To mark his visit, Fintech Wales will host an informal roundtable event to showcase the strength of Welsh fintech innovation and explore potential collaboration opportunities between Wales and the LATAC (Latin America and the Caribbean) region.

Fred Fierro also serves as the LATAC region’s designated Wales champion and is particularly keen to engage with key Welsh fintech stakeholders during his visit. Fintech is a priority sector for the LATAC team, and Fred is eager to:
- Gain deeper insights into South Wales’ vibrant fintech cluster
- Highlight opportunities for Welsh companies to expand into Latin America
- Offer tailored support to businesses aiming to grow their presence in the LATAC markets
